LNAPL recovery at a pipeline spill site
NET™ systems recover LNAPL at a third site in New Mexico
July 1, 2020, New Mexico: EIC assisted an environmental contractor in installing explosion-proof NET™ systems at a conveyance facility in New Mexico. At the same legacy crude oil spill site, EIC has previously demonstrated that NET™ systems can recover LNAPL at substantially higher recovery efficiency compared to conventional LNAPL remedial systems. The demonstration entailed application of NET™ systems, first as an evaluation tool to determine the NAPL recovery potential and optimal NAPL recovery rates. Based on the results of the NAPL recovery tests, EIC then installed the NET™ as remedial tool to demonstrate long term recovery.
